On Mar. 19, 2010, Secretary General WANG Hongsong participated in the International Dispute Resolution Conference at University of Cambridge on invitation and delivered a keynote speech themed “Experiences of Arbitration Institutions in China”.
The International Dispute Resolution Conference at University of Cambridge is an international conference jointly sponsored by the London Branch of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and SICA-FICA, an International organization based in Hague aiming at the promotion, improvement and spread of ADR in commercial disputes in the whole world. The participants are senior arbitrators, mediators and lawyers engaging in the practice of dispute resolution from the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Austria and France. The organizers of the Conference thought that, with the rise of China’s economy, China is getting a bigger and bigger share in the global market of commercial dispute resolution services and it is becoming an integral knowledge reserve for practitioners in the international dispute resolution service sector to get to know the dispute resolution practice in China, so they specially invite BAC to participate in the Conference on behalf of China.
